The Fiordland Lobster Company

The Fiordland Lobster Company is a vibrant, privately owned company made up of fishermen shareholders and private investors. The Company has export pack factories in the North Island and South Island. The head office is based at Te Anau. There are fish receiving depots strategically positioned on both islands.

Regarded as a market leader in live lobster exports from New Zealand, our overseas market has continued to grow and now includes Japan,  China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Middle East and Europe. Other products are exported to Australia and the USA.

Over the next year the company anticipates exporting over 800 tonnes of lobster with annual revenues estimated to be over 40 million USD per annum.
